14k gold filled is tarnish resistant and great for sensitive skin. These pieces are typically forever lasting if taken proper care of your little piece. They will not discolor or flake off. This is a more affordable, but beautiful alternative to solid gold. 

You can wear these necklaces every step of the way. You can workout with these and they can get wet without discoloring or flaking. Best practice for lasting results would be to take off before showering, or getting into large bodies of water.
