Darling daylight’s goal is to make you feel loved and seen. We want you to feel radiantly hopeful when you wear your jewelry. We hope you feel like you can come as you are, have a good time, and leave feeling happy. Even if it is just for a golden moment.

Hi I am Abbie, and I am so happy you are here! I started Darling daylight in my small, studio apartment in Des Moines, IA. During this time I wanted to create something that was happy, light-hearted and meaningful. When you get your hand-stamped pieces they come with so much character in them. Just like the date, symbol or person you are getting on your charm. I wanted to bring that to life so you can keep them close to your heart. I hope these pieces keep you radiantly hopeful and you feel joy when you put them on. Event if it's for a golden moment. Thanks for being here.

If you see a blonde version of me it's my sweet sister, Megan. She's the best. She helps with pop ups and inventory for large events and so much more!

If you see momma Jane running around she is always down to help with whatever. Her focus is on decorations for the booth, and pop up transportation.

My sweet boyfriend Blake helps with numbers, occasionally drops off packages for us, loads up the car for pop ups and so much more! We love him.

what is the metal?

14k gold-filled metal is a sheet of gold bonded to a base metal core using heat and pressure. 14k gold-filled pieces are durable, affordable, and hypoallergenic. The “k” stands for karat and is a measure of the amount of gold that covers the surface. The value of gold-filled metal is greater than gold-plated because gold-filled has an actual layer of karat gold, not just a microscopic film. Fine silver is alloyed with copper to create sterling silver, which is 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. This percentage of fine silver is why you will sometimes see sterling silver referred to as ‘925 silver.’

Although rare, sometimes individual body chemistries can react with the metal and cause a reaction. It’s definitely a wild-card and is based on the individual. Darling daylight is not held responsible for chemical reactions that jewelry may cause. If this is you, please email me at contact@darlingdaylight.com and we can figure out your order together!

do you have a warranty?

Darling daylight offers a one year warranty from your purchase date on all of our jewelry. We want to make sure your loved pieces are taken care of if something should happen. We are so grateful for your support and choosing to spend your hard-earned dollars with us.

If your necklace chain breaks after your warranty date, we can still fix it for a small fee starting at $15. You do not have to purchase a whole new necklace. *customers are responsible for shipping.

how do I clean my jewelry?

You can use jewelry cleaner or warm water and dish soap. Pat to dry. Permanent jewelry which is tight against the skin, are prone to more contact and may need to be cleaned more frequently.

can my jewelry get wet?

Yes, it can get wet without discoloring or flaking. Best practice would be to take off before swimming in large bodies of water, pools, hot tubs, oceans or spas. You want to avoid prolonged exposure to chlorine.

can I wear my jewelry everyday?

Yes, you can! Best practice would be to remove jewelry when using chemicals, shampoos, harsh soaps, lotions, makeup, hairspray, etc.

d in daylight

  • The lower d in daylight
  • Balance
  • Good things take time.
  • There is still light in the darkness.
  • This moon shape is a lighter color as it plays off the sun, because without a little darkness you don’t learn to appreciate the light

D in Darling

  • The capital D in Darling
  • The sun rises again and again, just like you.
  • In my logo, your eyes are drawn to the sun more which is why it is a bolder color than the moon.
  • The light outshines the darkness.
  • Sunshine rays makes me feel radianty hopeful

He makes it all possible. Darling daylight is created from hope. 1 Corinthians 13:13

There is no flowers / growth without a little rain. This is shown by the raindrop on top of our g’s.

Our sweet granny loved jewelry, especially gold. She was creative, smart, and witty. She was in a lot of pain the last few years of her life yet she stayed grateful, hopeful, and bright. She was like sunshine!

The radiant sunshine rays + flower petals that are wrapped around the moon symbolize to share your light with others.

There is no flowers / growth without a little rain.

Two things can be true at the same time.
You can be both. You could be bold and quiet.

Two things can be true at the same time. Light and darkness can co-exist, but you can also choose to have the light outshine the darkness, to remain radiantly hopeful.
