The “k” stands for karat and is a measure of the amount of gold that covers the surface. The value of gold-filled metal is greater than gold-plated because gold-filled has an actual layer of karat gold, not just a microscopic film. Fine silver is alloyed with copper to create sterling silver, which is 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. This percentage of fine silver is why you will sometimes see sterling silver referred to as ‘925 silver.’

Darling daylight offers a one year warranty from your purchase date on all of our jewelry. We want to make sure your loved pieces are taken care of if something should happen. We are so grateful for your support and choosing to spend your hard-earned dollars with us.
If your necklace chain breaks after your warranty date, we can still fix it for a small fee starting at $15. You do not have to purchase a whole new necklace. *customers are responsible for shipping.
You can use jewelry cleaner or warm water and dish soap. Pat to dry. Permanent jewelry which is tight against the skin, are prone to more contact and may need to be cleaned more frequently.
Yes, it can get wet without discoloring or flaking. Best practice would be to take off before swimming in large bodies of water, pools, hot tubs, oceans or spas. You want to avoid prolonged exposure to chlorine.
Yes, you can! Best practice would be to remove jewelry when using chemicals, shampoos, harsh soaps, lotions, makeup, hairspray, etc.
